Alcohol and stupid ideas goes hand in hand.
So the idea wasn't as stupid as you might think. The idea of hoverboard soccer felt like something really fun and it was, for about 15 minutes until Derek started to go all in and there was more football than soccer.
Perhaps we've taken an iron too many but it was so fun we just went with it and then the worst thing happened. Derek came in from behind and smashed straight into me so I flew facing down and scratched my elbow. One thing led to another and then he ended up sewing it all together tightly. How neat isn't that, just check the picture above!
Just happy there weren't any more serious injuries. Just so you know kids. Keep it safe while riding your hoverboards. They are not made for playing soccer.
